Complete structural restoration of a 16th-century timber-framed cottage. Works included replacing a decayed sole plate with species-matched English oak, repairing scarf-jointed principal beams, and reinstating traditional lime render over restored wattle panels. All works carried out under Listed Building Consent with close conservation officer collaboration.

Conversion of a Grade II listed threshing barn into a residential dwelling. The existing oak frame was carefully surveyed, repaired, and strengthened using traditional pegged joinery. New structural elements were crafted in green oak to match the original, while modern insulation and services were integrated without compromising the barn's historic character.

Interior restoration of a period farmhouse, focusing on the exposed oak beam ceiling structure. Careful cleaning, treatment, and localised piece-in repairs brought the original 18th-century beams back to their full glory. Complementary bespoke oak shelving and panelling were designed to integrate seamlessly with the restored timbers.

Design and construction of a complete green oak frame for a new garden annexe, complementing an existing period property. The frame features traditional mortise and tenon joinery with drawbored pegs, king post trusses, and hand-chamfered beams. The structure was raised over two days and will naturally season and tighten over the coming years.

Emergency structural repair to the primary tie beams of a medieval hall house suffering from historic beetle damage and localised decay. Using traditional scarf joints, damaged sections were carefully excised and replaced with seasoned oak, preserving the beam's original profile and ensuring structural continuity. Conservation officer approval secured throughout.

Comprehensive renovation of a substantial Victorian country house within a conservation area. Works encompassed new oak-framed entrance porch, replacement of deteriorated roof timbers, restoration of original sash windows, and installation of bespoke internal joinery throughout. The project was managed to respect the property's position within the designated conservation area.
